As basketball players and enthusiasts ourselves, we aim to use our experience in playing and coaching basketball to create a caring, respectful, and enthusiastic team of basketball players, which will continuously represent Oman internationally in the near future.
The academy accommodates girls and boys aged 3 to 13 years old, whether they already have an interest for the game, or are looking for a new hobby and a way to let out their energy.

It’s all about having fun! Twinkle stars program insures children’s physical, social and emotional development while having fun, meeting new friends, playing games and developing motor skills by introducing basic basketball skills in a safe environment.

Enjoy basketball, simple yet fun! Sparkle Stars program focuses on learning basketball skills and teaching life lessons through exciting games and drills, yet keeping it fun. Children at this level are expected to progress from basic to harder skills using structured training program.

They are our future stars! Bright stars program insures gradual progression in children’s skills level and introduces tactics and basketball game strategies to prepare them for real games and competitions. In addition, we bring the best out of our stars socially, mentally and emotionally by developing essential life lessons such as good sportsmanship, team spirit, Leadership and discipline.
Book Your PlaceShooting Stars operates four seasons a year. Each season consists of 14 weeks (13 training weeks and concluded by season finale and awards ceremony).

The Shooting Stars Academy team are all FIBA certified coaches, and have had many years of experience in the field of basketball.
آ mother of 2 STARS and a former Oman Women Basketball National Team player. Besides her experience in playing, she is qualified in coaching and refereeing. Has had an experience teaching and training children and is excellent dealing with them. In addition, she is the focal point for all Shooting Stars players, and the Twinkle Stars (ages 3 - 6 years old) lead coach.
A current Oman Women Basketball National Team player. Has played university level basketball in the United Kingdom, and realizes the importance of fundamentals at a younger age for becoming a thriving skillful player at a later level. In addition, she is the lead coach for the Sparkle Stars (ages 6 – 9 years old).
A mother of a STAR and a current Oman Women Basketball National Team captain. Involved in the sports industry in Oman for many years, and has a great insight into how things are run, what are the gaps within our players and teams, and what needs to be done to fulfil them. She is the lead coach for the Bright Stars (9 – 13 years old).
